Staying with a 9mnth old - Good Value!!!

The staff at the place we amazing so personable and love kids so they we great with our little one, remembering his name and actively helping to make life easy for us. The food was always on time and almost seemed to never run out. Our room was a good size and great to chill in.

Trying to get through to them on WhatsApp was initially very difficult. The indoor pool was definitely in need of updating or at least the lights fixing. Whilst the cocktails were all included they were not in any way good, just cheap (but I think that's a personal opinion as some may have liked it)

- noisy theatre set up right outside our room, not ideal with a baby. - Good options in the buffet area needs improvement, more turkish food options would be ideal and less greasy fast food e.g. chips / onion rings/ chicken nuggets for breakfast lunch and dinner it was the same food all the time

Some of the staff were rude and ignorant. Also when you try to book activity so many different prices were giving we booked spa me and my friends got very different price for exactly the same things. Thai happened for the boat trip as well it was not so good and waste of money. Just watch out when you booking stuff

Beautiful location, very tasty food, helpful staff. Budget friendly hotel.

Amazing location, beautiful nature, unlimited food, which is very tasty, huge swimming pool.

The check in process was strange, hotel obviously is not updated with the required softwares and asking guests to get down 1 floor just to fill up information form manually. Very outdated approach. They have a kids club, however it works only 4 hours a day and kids cannot be dropped off. So for parents who wish to have at least an hour of rest - won’t work. They also had a third party kids entertainment center under the restaurant. Usually 5 star hotels do have free playgrounds for kids, Duja Hotel lets someone make money on this. Also strange why 5 star hotel sells pop corn to kids while it should be definitely part of “all inclusive” package. ( again third party rents space in the hotel) Concierge service - Third party company which doesn’t accept card payments and not very budget friendly. Supermarket downstairs has no price tags, so prepare yourself to pay anything sales guy says the price is.

Very pleasant stay. Thank you Duja team.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were great and helpful, we communicated through WhatsApp which was extremely useful and their response was exceptionally quick. The pools were very clean, the place is beautiful with lovely views. We enjoyed nice walks around the resort every evening.

It’s not a major issue, but the buffet service gets very busy and we had to queue for a while each time.

Very Good

The entertainment on offer is non stop, it is impossible to be bored at this resort. Most of the staff are great and helpful. The beach is beautiful and the room we had was nice and big with a very comfortable bed.

Some staff seemed like they did not want to be there at all - extremely unhelpful and rude. You can use the transfer service from the hotel to Bodrum city which is 10euro per person however you need 4 people minimum to use it. We organised a transfer with the concierge (one of which gave us wrong information multiple times) and the driver was in such a hurry because he had someone else to pick up after us, that about 30mins into the journey pulled over and opened the bonnet to pretend that the car had broken down to send to the next client, then asked my wife (who luckily speaks turkish) to back up his story to the next client on the phone - to which she politely declined. He then proceeded to drive like a maniac with my pregnant wife and 2yr old in the car, to the point where our bags were flying across from side to side in the back of the van, even after being asked multiple times to slow down. Had I not pre paid for the ride I definitely would not have given him anything.

We had to leave 2 days earlier because of a sudden business obligation, we could not get a refund or a compensating equal number of days to be provided later on.

Overall, I’m happy and we enjoyed!

Delicious food, specially the BBQ part. Friendly staff.

Shuttle service prices are not reasonable at all!!! They asked for 1700 TL for one way to airport for 3 adults but we got a taxi and we paid 700 TL!!!! Their responses were not making sense at all when we asked them to explain why their price is too high compared to taxis rates.

Good value for money

Location, proximity to Bodrum city center (15 min by bus). Nice sea view, good entertainment program. Food in the traditional Turkish snack bar at the beach (upstairs, not the main beach bar) was perfect.

Staff barely speaks English. Food in the main restaurant was sometimes not cooked through (meat, fish). Hygiene in the restaurant could be improved, cutlery and cups were often dirty. No actual Starbucks at the hotel (it is just a small bar where coffee is served in Starbucks cups).

Great family experience

The long beachside walk and almost all day food and refreshments

A boy who was approximately 7 years old pooped in the pool intentionally. First day no one knew who was it and then the guard only removed the poop with a net. Second day luckily i saw the boy doing it i told him to get out of the pool then i called the guard. They also only took the poop out without talking to the child. In such case they need to clean the water well also tell the boy he is not allowed to do that

Nice, big place with beautiful sea view and with good personal

The hotel is quite near to the airport (around 30 minutes), there is a bus stop at the exit/entrance of the hotel to go to Bodrum. A lot of places to eat, enough spare place to seat at the restaurant, enough staff to serve. A lot of place (sun beds) to take sun bath. Good spa. Rooms at the main building are with sea view, very beautiful. We liked the boat trip which is proposed at the hotel premises.

Air conditioning at the main building is quite old, working quite loudly. It is working, but you don’t have much options to adjust. Variety of fruits could be more seasonal. Beach area is very small and the entrance to the sea there is not convenient. It is not a “minus”, but just you should be aware. The main entrance to the sea is by stairs.

I would definite go there again.

- Great crew doing their best to feel you comfortable. We checked in at 14.00 and they guided us to lunch (as it is over at 14.30) before finishing the formalities. This shows the guest centric approach they take. - Room itself and the sea view from the rooms is great. You have a balcony and the sea visible from almost all the windows. - Excellent food included in all inclusive is one of the things we enjoyed most. They seem to have good chefs and use high quality ingredients and make great local food as well as the international options such as fresh pasta, pizza and Asian food. - Daily cleaning to the rooms were really good and refreshing of the mini bar which is included in all inclusive was a good touch. - Evening shows were professional and entertaining. We have seen things like Latin dance, Turkish folklore and some acrobatics shows in different evenings and they were great. When there was no such show arranged, there was live music. - Starbucks helped a lot for having good quality coffee. There could be some queue but the staff did their best for us to get the best service as soon as possible. - Cocktails have decent amount of alcohol. This is a sight you have in most all inclusive hotels but these guys did not try to save pennies and made the drinks as they should be, without even measuring :) - Activities near the pool during the day was good. - Night club visits every night - Sun beds are solid and balanced. - Large amount of sun beds scattered so you can find some quiet area from the kids. There is a small adult only area but the textile beds there were dirty.

- Slow check in: I guess we arrived at a busy time for this but still the reception did not seem to try a first come first approach and served whoever is next to them. This hinders the feeling of a 5 star hotel. - Room isolation: our village room was separated with the next room with a locked door. This caused quite a bit discomfort when a family with two kids started to be our next door neighbor. Kids are kids so we did not complain and used ear buds. This is the biggest issue to be addressed I think. - Lack of English among the crew, shows also in the errors of text around you. I am native Turkish and did not get affected by this but encountered many occasions which I had to jump in to help to other tourists in their conversation with the staff. - Walking distance to places and a lot of stairs: this could be a problem for people with reduced mobility but for me it was fun and nice around lovely plants and trees. - Elevator to the beach: there are two of those but most of the time one of them was out of service. This caused some waiting time to travel to the other from the sea bed area. - Uncertain schedule of activities: hotel has activities and shows every evening and some were really professional. However you do not know what will happen tomorrow until you ask to an animator. - Mosquitoes: this is not something the hotel could do much but it was a significant disturbance. Buy some repellent before going there or you can also buy from the market in the hotel. - Almost no sandy beach feeling: there is a small sandy area for the visitors but you need shoes to get into the sea without hurting your feet. - Cramped sun beds near the beach bar: as this is a big hotel, they need a lot of sun beds and this causes you to be in a crowded environment constantly. There are different options and fancy sun beds as well but many of them are booked with towels even tho it is forbidden.

-The facilities are on point. A lot of activities during the day and themes every night and entertainment team always takes suggestions. The hotel is comfortable. Around the pool was clean. Aquapark was pretty fun even for adults. The beach area was very good. The staff is very friendly and always available. Shout out to Emir who’s the best barman we have ever met in Turkey.

I am rating 8 mainly for the food, it tasted very industrial not a all tasty. The snacks area is better than the kitchen. The waiters clear the table with a forklift while you’re earning which disgusted me a bit. Aquasports are VERY expensive. Aquapark and snaking areas close at 5pm.
